Greenthion is a general use pesticide, labeled for controlling insects, in ornamentals, vegetables, and fruit trees.
Malathion 50 EC, formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate, is a non-systemic, broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide / acaricide, with contact action on the stomach and respiratory tract pests of stored crops: flies, household insects, ectoparasites, mites, aphids, ticks, fleas, bugs, leaf miners, worms.
It is widely used in mosquito eradication programs in public health, such as mosquito eradication, in agriculture and horticulture to control insects on fruits and vegetables and on ornamental plants.
